Ohana Days are held at Waipa on the second Saturday of the month, most months…depending on what we have going on. This is an opportunity for anyone interested in connecting with, learning about, and experiencing Waipa by doing some volunteer work (at one or more of our worksites), and learning through that work. We focus our work and activities in different areas on each Ohana Day, and try to include activities for children as well as adults.

A typical Ohana Day starts at 9am with introductions and a general overview of Waipa. Then we head out to the worksite for a couple of hours, and return for a nutritous lunch provided by Waipa staff. Lunch is made from some of our produce and ingredients grown on site and sometimes participants and keiki can get involved in helping to prepare it.

Join us and we know you'll have fun, learn something new, do something for the `aina, and maybe even meet some new people!

New information will be posted on this page, before each Ohana Day, so you’ll know what we’re doing, and what to bring.
